Broccoli

  • Contain  high quantities of Vitamin C and soluble fiber.
  • Contain glucoraphanin which is converted to sulforphane by the enzyme myrosinase. Sulforaphane has strong anti-cancer properties and is very useful for the health.  
  • Contain equal amount of calcium with milk besides many other vitamins and minerals. 

Spinach

  • Contain about 22 percent of the adult RDA of iron for a 100g serving.
  • Better iron absorption properties.
  • Contain Calcium, Vitamins A, C and E, folic acid and antioxidants. 

Brussels Sprouts

  • Contain lots of Vitamin A, C and folic acid.
  • Contain high amounts of folacin, fiber, potassium and protein.
  • Contain disease fighting phytochemicals such as lutein, beta-carotene and zeaxanthin. 

Lima Beans

  • Very high in tryptophan which helps with mood and sleep.
  • Contain high amounts of manganese, molybdenum, dietary fiber, protein, potassium, folate and iron.

Green Peas

  • Rich in Vitamin K1.
  • Help in calcium absorption because Vitamin K1 activates a protein called osteocalcin.
  • Rich in manganese, folate, dietary fiber and Vitamins C, B1, B2, B3 and B6.
