Fashion is a term which is referred to as a state of mind. This word come from Latin word which means “ to make” . Fashion is most commonly associate with clothing, but it even applies to anything from interior architecture, to models of toys. It is a way of measuring a mood that can be useful many aspects, culturally, socially, even psychologically. Perhaps the most distinctive quality about the fashion since the early times is that it is increasing simplicity. Fashion is a term usually used in a positive sense, as a synonym for glamour, beauty and style it is also applies to a prevailing mode of expression.
Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street; fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening. Fashion is a means of self-expression that allows people to try on many roles in life. It's a way of celebrating the diversity and variety of the world in which we live. Fashion is about change which is necessary to keep life interesting. It's also a mirror of sorts on society. At the same time, fashion shouldn't be taken too seriously or you lose the fun of it.
However Fashion is commonly used to describe a style of clothing worn by most people of a country. Thus as the word goes, fashion is generally associated with textile, garments and trends. The word textile refers to woven clothes. A fashion remains popular for the period of time that a large segment of society accepts it. However, it is normal for the fashion trends to change according to seasons. During summers the common colors worn are the pastel shades and lighter fabric. In winter the preferred color range are the darker and brighter ones and fabric is heavier.
Current global fashion centre’s are London, Milan, Paris and New York, but other cities like Rome and Tokyo are also becoming well known.
