Drink green tea and lose your weight
Though green tea has antioxidants which can reduce the destructive effects of harmful oxidants but the effects of green tea for weight loss are very minimal. If one wants to reduce one pound in a week then one need to have 500 less calories to reduce weight and 5 cups of green tea can contribute extra 70-80 calories only which is too minimal to reduce weight.
The key to reduce weight is balanced diet and exercise. We need to consume less calories than our body need to reduce weight, drinking green tea alone is not going to be satisfactory for significant weight loss. Green tea can still be quite useful as a weight loss aid with a balanced diet and exercise.
