Sugar plays a major role in reducing and gaining weight.
Sugar is carbohydrate. During digestion, all the carbohydrates are converted into simple sugar except fibre and this sugar provide energy(kcal) to keep body running. Excess sugar will be stored in our body as fats. Our body can't scrutinize the different sources of energy. So, avoiding sugars alone will not correct overweight. To lose weight, you must reduce the total amount of calories from the foods you eat and increase your level of physical activity. Because maintaining a nutritious diet and a healthy weight is very important, sugars should be used in moderation by most people and sparingly by people with lower calorie needs.
